We are local performers we have come together to create a special event to support and encourage community and culture in Southern Humboldt County in recognition and celebration of our strength and perseverance.

The Event:
September 13-15 for 'Phoenix Rising.'
Saturday Afternoon 9/14, 2:00-6:30, Join us for a free celebration of community resilience and creativity in Southern Humboldt County! with music, puppets, workshops and exhibition, non-profit organization information sharing and food, as we come together to celebrate our ability to navigate our changing environment.

This project was developed by performers that regularly make use of the Redwood Playhouse; Recycled Youth, Random People Theatre, Feet First Dancers, & the Spring Chickens, uniting under the theme of community resilience. Performances were created through the summer to prepare for the show with the support of the Humboldt Creative Alliance, and the North Coast Repertory Theatre, with Funds from Humboldt County Measure J occupancy tax revenue.
The goal of the project is to support Southern Humboldt Performers with a Summertime event in a collaboration of Redwood Playhouse affiliated producers and performers, teachers and volunteers, and to bring local organizations and the community together to network, collaborate, and have fun!
Friday & Saturday will feature A collaborative stage show @ 7:00pm
with doors opening at 6:30
Sunday will repeat the show for a 2:00 pm Matinee, doors at 1:30
Tickets at the door - Sliding scale admission of $10-$20
No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
