STILL WAITING...

Waiting for Godot" Coming to Garberville Some of us have been waiting 25 years for "Waiting for Godot" to appear once again on stage in soHum, and it is happening. Not only is it going to appear again with one of the same actors, Susan Alexander, and the same director, Joani Rose, but on the same stage, a stage once abandoned and now rejuvenated: the stage of the Redwood Playhouse. The other actors are Marilyn Foote, Carl Hanson, John Scanlon and Sophie Dowd. "Waiting for Godot: is a tragicomedic two act play written by Samuel Becket soon after World War II and has become one of the landmark works of art of the 20th century. It is a play that asks the question: In what ways do we humans seek to find meaning in our lives? There are a thousand interpretations of the play, which is one reason it has fascinated audiences for over 50 years. So, mark this production on your calendars Fri, Sat, and Sunday, Sept. 15, 16 and 17 (matinee), at the Redwood Playhouse (CR Garberville campus). Evening shows start at 7:00 and the Sunday matinee at 2:00.
